Jesus christ this game is going to produce some memes. I did think and this may sound odd, that there'd be more "choice" but perhaps you can further alter those above options with sliders etc. which makes it so you have "more choice"?

Either way, i hope to watch the Livestream stuff again as i missed it due to having a few errands. Looked great what little i could see though.

I can't believe i'm saying this.

They're gonna get called out for "Genital shaming" or some other BS. "Look, there's 2 dick types and penis size options but they only give you 1 vagina option(!)"

I actually don't understand why they bothered going that far with regards to offering customizable genitals etc. and not just do "body type" with slides for morphing it more.

I'm sorry but if anything they should be called out for only offering 1 vagina option.

How to tell Mavrick ignores reading your posts(!)

I love the depth of the apartments. You can see in to each one and they have depth to them too pretty impressive.

at 1080p with DLSS on due to GeForce Now limitations

But could anyone have guessed that before being told?

I've said this before but you have so much more to game visuals before we reach photorealistic images even at 1080p and beyond. One thing i will say, that 1080p image on the bottom, the thing outside the car next to the side mirror on the fender looks low textured. A giveaway sign maybe and some aliasing on the door. However it's a very beautiful image.

Forgot I preordored the PS4 version like a year ago. Was going to cancel, but may as well keep it since it will get upgraded to the PS5 version.

Watched the Twitch stream earlier & have been watching some of the press videos afterwards. This will be another homerun for CD Projekt Red! I've had this game preordered since it was available to do so & I look forward to playing it on the PS5. I may even picked it up for the PC as well & let my 2080ti run wild.

Game looks good in 4K.

Can’t wait to play it on PS5 after the 2021 patch.

By the time the full PS5 version comes out, this game is going to be dirt cheap second hand. I'm willing to bet it will be at least a year before we get that version, as CDPR aren't willing to state when it will drop.

I'm going to wait until the team over at Digital Foundry do their stuff with the PC/console comparisons, as interestingly enough i've decided that it's time to jump ship from the Radeon family after 15 years and to go Nvidia. My graphics card came out in 2017, 2021 would be a good year to get a state of the art Nvidia beast if it turns out there is no set date for a full port of the PC version to the X2 or PS5.

The game looks amazing but it seems the build they showed off is running on a PC with a 2080 Ti and using an Xbox controller. My assumption is that the closest version on consoles to that visually will come from the PS5 and Series X however, the thing about the delay for a "Proper" PS5 version is actually a really good thing.

If CDPR can use the PS5 patch to analyze how the game runs on next gen, it will better inform their optimisation and so that when a full fat next gen copy is available, you can benefit from it being probably as good as the current 2080 Ti visuals and so on. There's just so much damn good looking things for the title but the animation quality is also really solid. I think we're in for a treat BUT that does not mean everything apparently feels perfect and i think some systems for as robust as CDPR wanted to make the game might not feel as polished or as good as others.

SkillUp a YouTuber mentioned how at least for him, the hacking and stealth trees didn't feel as nice to use off the rip but that could change as you move along and unlock more abilities. I think people hopefully will enjoy it overall and maybe, just maybe CDPR could use any "complaints" or feedback to rejig game mechanics a little when releasing a next gen version.

Even if a version of the game releases in 2022, If they had DLC around that time, i'd bet a lot of people would buy it in addition to the free upgrade to support the studio. I sure as hell will be.

Which makes NO damn sense to me, as the PC assets are already there! Why in god's name would it take them a year to get the next gen console versions to run at the level that the PC version is running at currently? It's all x86 architecture isn't it? Seems to me this is darn near as close to a "right click, save as" process as you can get.

Yeah, the demo was running on PC.

2080 Ti / 1080p 60FPS

He mentioned how when in a car it actually felt like the FPS was higher than 60.

I’ll be happy with 4K/30 with RT on PS5 if they can get it there.

It's not as simple because the next gen consoles are SUPER optimised for the NVMe etc. and it sounds like CDPR want to take full advantage and give people a "full" next gen experience. It's why people *****ed Fifa 21 wasn't going to PC in the same version as PS5/Series X but using the PS4 version.

I get where you're coming from, but these next gen consoles overall are a cut above typical PCs in almost every area for how they work so to finesse them as a better experience will he interesting BUT maybe whatever you're talking about is included in that "PS5 Patch" they already announced.

I think it's a balancing act and don't mind the wait since it has a stop gap solution.

Here's an uncompressed 16GB dowload to see it in all its unpixelated glory.
https://www.gamersyde.com/download_c...-42749_en.html

All this resolution talk about things needing to be native 4K is a load of old codswallop if you ask me.

AI learning has improved massively over the years and NVIDIAs DLSS 2.0 is doing incredible things for performance and honestly it's hard to tell sometimes what's upscalled and what's native and sometimes the upscale looks sharper than the native

Maybe we will get a native 540p image supersampled to 4K to let us have the same RT features as the PC version. lol

The benefits IMO far outweigh the negatives. So if a developer wants to sacrifice native resolutions for supersampled ones to improve the FPS that's fine by me.

One of these is native the other isn't which one looks better?
