They never address that some of the characters are related to each other, with the exception of Magneto and Quicksilver.

Singer stays and directs X3. Hands off the franchise to Vaughn/Someone else with NO PREQUELS. We have many X-men adventures that close up with Days of Future Past/Logan. Franchise is dormant until bought by Marvel studios. Everyone looks on the X-men franchise fondly and can't wait for what's next.

Regardless of any of my feelings on the films themselves, if half the stuff said concerning Bryan Singer's true then, prevent them. Of course, that means no MCU or DCU, but I can live with that.

Honestly, they should've had more experimentation sooner. Part of the reason movies like The Wolverine, Logan, Deadpool, Legion (tv series), and hopefully New Mutants were so memorable is that they actually try to do something unique and mix genres. The Wolverine essentially being a samurai movie. Logan is a western, Legion is a surreal psychological thriller, Deadpool is a crude comedy, New Mutants is a horror movie, and so forth. Not to say the ones that really didn't experiment with different genres were bad, X2 is excellent, but this franchise really shined when it took creative risks with unique visions.

I wouldn't. They are great. Just skip Last Stand, Wolverine Origins and Dark Phoenix.

How would I improve the movies? Toss then all in the trashcan. Keep X2: X-Men United and X-Men First Class. Those two films were the only good ones in the series.

I would have enjoyed it if the Sentinels had a better design. Instead, Bryan Singer had them, designed so they looked like "see-through" giant plastic toys. It felt like I was watching an X-Men parody. If you cut out all of the "past" scenes, then it's a great movie. But, to me, First Class was the only savings grace for the rebooted X-Men franchise.

Avoid doing the Dark Phoenix storyline. They already butchered it twice.

I think Marvel Studios should avoid doing any of the storyarcs and simply spend many years building up to it but I do think they should stay away from anything related to Dark Phoenix for the foreseeable future. Marvel Studios will do the adaption right, I just think that they should let the bad memory of Dark Phoenix fade away before attempting to re-do it.

But, I think Marvel Studios should do Mojo. I remember his first introduction in the pages of that Arthur Adams mini series, Longshot. That disgusting yellowish, fat slob of Mojoworld is always a laugh a minute every time he appears in a Marvel comic book. I believe he's about to make another appearance in Marvel Comics very soon. Last time he appeared was back during the X-Men Blue/Red series'.

Yes with his mutant first stance. Yet the problem with that, is that we find out that the cure is only functional for a short time. So she would have gotten her powers back. Yet since they reset the time line that little fact never has to be dealt with.

Missed opportunity. Sometimes I feel scripts/screenplays should almost write themselves. Ramp up two contrasting points of views and then let that conflict play out regardless of how damaging. But a lot of time a conflict is side stepped or ignored entirely.

There was a lot of things done fast and loose in these movies. Would Mystique get revenge on Magneto? How did Wolverine get his Adamantium claws back. Professor X transfer is mind into a new body, then appears to be back in his old body still in a wheel chair.

You paint yourself into corners, and then have no choices to play with conjecture. Mutants age slower, we don't care about continuity, oh that is the son/daughter of that character. Well the comics continuity is messed up also.

Difference is the comics is 60 years of different creative teams and a shifting world. For the most part these movies have the same producers and editors. They could barley keep it straight from one movie to the next.

I know it is hard to keep up with it the longer things go. Yet one of the things you need to do is draft a bible of events.
