They are greedy jackasses, that's why.
I'm not going to go round and round on this. I respect we all have different opinions.

For me, I don't see the issue, for you, there is....that's cool

I find this $70 situation a little amusing tbh,

Canada went to $70 3-4 years ago. Then in that “same” year, went up to $80.

Ya know what happened?

Absolutely nothing changed. Gamers buy games.

Honestly, all good.

I can see that PoV people approach it from too but as you say, we simply have chosen to side on what we feel is right. Ultimately whether they offer it or don't, we can all agree it's your money and you can buy what you want with it.

It could be worse, at least you don't have to guess which game is next gen and which isn't

That is some hideous boxart, even w/o all the logos.

That's relevant for Sony but it still hurts more for a Canadian to buy a game than an American. It's not like their salaries are 30% bigger.

Didn’t even include the 12-13% tax. At standard game at retail here comes in a few cents under $90

Activision has no excuse for not putting the entire game on disc, but I'm not going to assume one way or the other without confirmation.
True, but you hit the nail on the head, cant assume

I'm with you on that one; not a single game on the 1X ever used the UHD disc format, with every game needing a download to upgrade it the full version. Activision need to get it right and show support for the PS5 from the start with the full game coming on disc, regardless of any Day 1 patch.

I read that the Standard Edition on the Xbox One is said to take up an approximate 100.04GB. If that's just for that system how much bigger for Next Gen?

Well allegedly they keep telling us that next gen consoles won't need to duplicate assets, and that space will just be used for higher quality textures so i'm expecting more or less the same sorta size.

I'm curious on how much different these cross gen games are going to be. Cant see them being a night a day difference from PS4 Pro to PS5 of the same game.

When I turned 30 I realized these games are trash made for kids. My PS4 is only used for Hulu, Prime and Netflix now.

I preordered the PS5 version from Best Buy, its got $10 rewards. If I buy the Ps4 would it be the same, meaning I can play PS4 then PS5 version when it releases? The PS4 version is $10 cheaper.

No, the way that this all works is that you can't play the PS5 version unless you pay $10 extra and otherwise it'll just be the PS4 Pro equivalent i guess you end up playing. However i think the best thing i'll be doing is waiting for this on a bigger price drop. Usually COD titles did drop well but Modern Warfare was stubborn.

Probably because it didn’t have a season pass. usually they make the base games price very tempting soon after release, but they lock content behind a $40-$50 season pass
