I think R* have always focused on a non-law enforcement character from what i recall and hopefully whichever way they do spin it, they'll have amazing characters and fully take advantage of next gen hardware

It would be nice to change it up a bit, especially if they go with the multiple characters again, to play someone on the other side of the law as well.

I feel like R* would do what they did prior to reinvent the city but make it familiar and go with new characters potentially with a few easter eggs in missions but having the story focus on those older characters isn't what they usually do. It's usually fresh and irreverent to match the world commentary they're trying to satire and feel would still resonate.

I expect Rockstar to have live events and big screen gatherings similar to Fortnite. For example, a cinema Or drive in that shows films at a certain time. Another example would be a concert or music event.
GTA could run the entire length of the PS5’s life. Give it a few years and that could even be played out in VR. It makes my head explode.

Nice idea, but hard to indulge in outrageous mayhem and chaos when you are on the right side of the law as a Vice City detective. I don't think they would split the characters to play both sides of the law, but having multiple characters was so popular i really can't imagine them going back on that. And for god's sake, leave Trevor out of the game, he was a great character, but he's had his day...

To play as a cop with a cop car in GTAVI could be interesting. Would it be an honorable police officer or a corrupt one? Or both?

For an open world game, the story and missions in GTA never adapt to the player choices.

Not gonna lie, that looks disappointing as hell. To me, GTA games need to get back to a more dense City design and have the open world not seem as sparse around some of the areas like GTA V did. It was a lot of landmass with not a lot of stuff in some of those areas.

If that map is real, it doesn’t look that big. Probably won’t be many sparse areas.

Hopefully they don’t disable saving the game when using a cheat code. That’s the only thing I hate about RDR2.

GTA V's map definitely had a TON of wasted land with the mountains. Most of those had nothing happening on them, and were next to impossible to traverse easily. So the map was not nearly as large or useful as many suggested for that game.

Playing GTAV on PS4, the frame rate chugs as I can actually see the images stutter as you pan the camera left or right. Strange how after playing 60 fps games on PS5, things like this are noticeable when before PS5, I didn't give it a second thought.

Has Rockstar even bothered updating GTAV PS4 for the PS5 with 60 fps? I'll guess no, since they're holding out for the GTAV PS5 version... If that game is only slightly different... If it's significantly better visually on PS5, with all new graphics, then I'll potentially consider it but only if they fix the on foot controls so the characters don't have so much lag to your input.

For PS5, I'll guess if GTAV arrives in 2021, then GTAVI will arrive in late 2023.

Rockstar won’t be updating anything for GTA 5 on PS4. It wouldn’t be smart for them to do it since they are remastering it for PS5/Series X.

PC has crazy mods for 8K textures which make the game almost photorealistic.

Thanks. Yeah, that's what I would expect from Rockstar on PS5 if they're going to milk GTAV again and again. Looks great on PC. I hope the PS5 can handle it if that was their goal with GTAVI and V.

That’s crazy if they do wait until them to release GTA 6. We really need a new GTA or Saints Row game or any style gangster game.
