Movies offloaded to another studio to avoid the losses of a theatrical release generally don't get a disc version.

It's possible Sony could release a disc this summer having given Apple a yearlong exclusivity window, but it depends upon the terms of the contract.

I definitely hope the Sony Pictures Animation titles offloaded to Netflix get a disc release a year later, same with Happiest Season. But this tends to only happen with the Paramount titles that have been sold on, not sure about other studios.

I definitely hope GKids can extend their theatrical rights and put out Wolfwalkers on Blu-ray next winter. We'll see.

The part with his wife at the beginning of the movie needed to be cut...completely irrelevant.

Does anyone know if this is a legit release? Or bootleg? If legit, wouldn't a blu ray be likely too?

Apple has no interest releasing this on UHD and why would they want to? They have one of the largest streaming services in the world and that's what they want people utilizing.

You`re absolutely right, but it always infuriates me that they don`t license the rights out after like a year.
There are tons of people in the US who don`t have a strong internet connection and still rely on physical media. It would just be extra income for them as anybody who got a subscription for a specific movie would have already done so within a window of one year anyway.
