Casablanca (1942) would be the oldest film I watch routinely, followed by Forbidden Planet (1956), and It's a Wonderful Life (1946) in that order of most watched oldest films
![]() Casablanca- once a year Forbidden Planet- once a year It's a wonderful life - once every 2 or 3 years Blade Runner - 4 or 5 times a year. Everything else in my collection - once every 2 or 3 years. Last edited by Phillip c. Niethe; 08-19-2020 at 11:10 PM. |

I very seldom ever watch any movie more frequently than once a year. Too damn many interesting movies from all over the world, spanning over a century of cinema, to be show such favoritism to just a small number of titles.
That said, top-drawer Buster Keaton (Our Hospitality, The Navigator, Sherlock Jr., Steamboat Bill Jr., The General, etc.) are perennial revisits for me. |

1928's Lonesome.
![]() This movie is like time-traveling back to the 20s. Just seeing your great-great-great grandparents at that time makes you realize they weren't all that different from people today. Last edited by CyberpunkCentral; 08-20-2020 at 08:57 AM. |

The oldest ones I think I watch most regularly would be Star Wars: A New Hope and Superman: The Movie. Maybe Close Encounters semi-regularly.
How often depends. Last time for SW was rewatching them all before Rise of the Skywalker. Watched Superman (I and II) a few months ago. Once you get to the 80s/90s movies, there's just too many to list. Last edited by J999; 08-20-2020 at 05:06 PM. |
