70's Filipino horror can be lots of fun for me. Even the ones most reviewers say might be boring, I have enjoyed Besat of the Yellow Night as well as Superbeast which can be added if they haven't yet. They aren't as fun as the Blood Island films, but I still quite liked them.

I would put it into remakes. Only because Into the Mirror is only on the included DVD and this is a list of Asian horror on Blu-ray. Otherwise, it would belong in the Korean horror section too.

A bit late with this, but the original Ju-On: The Curse films have been released on Blu-Ray in Japan:
![]() However it's in 1080i and with no English subtitles. And posting this here since it might affect Chinese Horror films: Quote:

Check out the Thread on the Error4444 label. They just released Anatomia Extinction and it’s already sold out:

Been curious about the various film adaptations of Junji Ito works and made a quick little guide to them. I hear most are not too good, but that doesn't really stop me. I'm curious to check these out. Barely any on Blu-ray and almost all of them are OOP, but I wanted to share it somewhere for those who may share my curiosity.

Some of these are in the wrong place.
mon mon mon Monsters, Rigor Mortis, and Detention should all be moved to Chinese Horror. Grotesque and Hana-Damashould all be in Japanese Horror. The Complex is in both Japanese and Korean Horror, but it's Japanese. Last edited by ninawatches; 12-21-2021 at 02:36 PM. |

I am still waiting for all those wonderful Tartan Asia Extreme DVDs to be upgraded to BD. Some of them were very good, and the Whispering Corriders trilogy deserves its own box set.
