Since this is Sony release we can expect top-notch PQ and AQ at an enticing price-point. Glad I didn't buy the iTunes version recently.

I love these kinds of movies-big, outrageous lots of action and special effects. It had good humor and I'm a sucker for John Cusack. I voted for this too on the Sony questionnaire. I've also been waiting for it in 4K, along with Battle LA, Avatar, Chronicles of Riddick, Edge of Tomorrow, Super 8, Galaxy Quest, Looper, Tron Legacy, Tomorrowland...... The list goes on....... :-)

Aforementioned this looks a bit dodgy to me on iTunes. The HDR can look great on scene and look fake on another scene. I think it's due to excessive CGI. Need to check again and come to a conclusion.

Never had any desire to watch this. This announcement hasn't changed that. Maybe I'll pick it up if it's cheap (Black Friday 2021?).

I had a feeling this would get a release at some point.

I know it's wishful thinking, but I would love to see Premium Rush on 4K UHD. It's hands down one of my all-time favorite movies. How does one get Sony to include it in a poll?? It's too underrated for them to think about adding it themselves, haha.

2012 was a special effect extravaganza and a popcorn flick and movie succeeded on those terms only. It's typical Roland Emmerich! The 4K UHD will look and sound great, and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is going to blow the house.
