No clue lol.

I have PSplus so no biggie for me. I get it for those that don't and understand why it would be off-putting.

From what I have read the single player stuff is just short gear/item missions.

Not sure if can play with bots or not. Will dive in after work and report back.

Looks like a hoot. I'll pick this up today.
How do you like the game so far? It looks interesting and I'm a fan of Evil Dead. The online only games I avoid though.

That opening agreement to even play the game likely includes the "We sell your personal information" requirement. Then it forces the single player mode online for plenty of "upgrade" microsales I bet too.
Terrible they forced it online only when other multiplayer/single player games like Battlefront 2 PS4 offered fully offline single player modes.

I might have bought it if it had a single player free roam mode offline. But online only? It's like a rental game in other words.

I own a PS4 but zero games. I use it for BD/DVD playback but I am getting this game for sure.

It’s fun. You can play with bots if you want. 5 single player missions also. It’s about $10 overpriced if not using online imo.

Fun change of pace pick up and play kind of game and a must if a fan of the franchise imo. They do a solid job with the Evil Dead World.

Bruce Campbell was spectating the game while watching his son and other players play the game which was nice. At this point I'm going to be like Bruce Campbell and just watch live streams on Twitch since it's online only.

Anyone else able to actually access the Gallant Knight and S-Mart outfits? My code was accepted but the outfits are not there, nor is there a place to download or re-download them. This release is a bit frustrating.

That lasted a long time and only "died" due to the lawsuits keeping the makers from adding more content. Some that was already completed. So, not sure what the point of your snarky comment is. Know it all bravado maybe?

Tried a go with the Bots.

They are actually solid. Like maybe too solid lol.

They swarm to the baddies with a quickness. They also are quick to grab resources.

Game is a lot of fun.

I could do with a team of mic using Evil Dead fans. I'm on Xbox but it's crossplay so should be fine...I think.

It's 2022. Most civilized people have internet. These games are made to be played with other real live people. What's your fascination with playing with yourself?

I don’t know my dude. I play almost everything by myself. Just my preference.

Finding a consistent group of other people who aren't;

AFK when you need them
glitching or lagging
not on mic
running off on their own
10 year olds
Etc

Is incredibly difficult and time consuming. Not everyone has all night to play.

How sad. Buying games like this to play solo is like buying a ping pong table and pushing it up against a wall to play by yourself. Or throwing a football in the air so you can catch it yourself. What’s the point?

I also don’t know how you can say it’s fun, when you aren’t even playing it the way it was designed. You can’t really make an informed assessment like that.

The fact that this game won't last forever is what really bothers people the most. The fact that your pretty much paying for a timed game that will only last for a few years is pretty bad. The game will be useless once the online is dead. For example, a PS3 physical game that I own, "Mag", which is unplayable now because it's online only and the online play is dead now. I might as well throw that disc away. I cant believe that there are people out there that don't get this or it doesn't cross their mind unless they're young kids.

First I'll say that I'm a big Evil Dead fan, and was hoping they were going to offer the Single Player mode for offline, but they want even a single player game online to cash in probably on microsales.

You have the right to play all of your games online with other players if that's what you like.

I'm not a big fan of that type of multiplayer game as my right.

Plus consider many gamers still prefer games like Fallout 3 & 4, Horizon 1 and 2, and thousands of other single player focused games that don't require online interaction with human players since the early days of Video Games.

Thank you. Very good points.

I'm an explorer, so going in to an online match and minding my own business as I want to explore the map, is often not possible when human players affect the game.

This was the exact same issue with Friday the 13th.
