Well, that sucks. I'm hoping that you are able to get it. For some reason both it and Day of the Beast are close to 50 apiece. Crazy talk for these movies.

I called Best Buy yesterday and the representative said they definitely have one for me but wasn't sure why it hasn't shipped. He stated it should shop before April 14th. I am not all that confident though. i had this happen with the limited edition Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which never shipped and was a pre-order. I also had it happen with Justine which was in stock but really wasn't. After three failed attempts to order that one, only to have the order cancelled two weeks later, I gave hope.

Hoping by some miracle this ships but I don't like the status of they have it for me and it hasn't shipped. That's exactly happened with GOTG 2. Fingers crossed it does ship this coming week.

No, I will not pay $50 for this movie. Way too much for it, IMHO.

And, Kanopy PQ isn't bad (like Prime)

I still have no idea what this even is but I have 6 credits/month from my local library so I'll watch it and find out.

6 credits means you have 6 movies you can watch for the month. That's due to the agreement set in place with your library system and Kanopy. I have 10 credits per month but I'm part of a large library system. Kanopy is awesome.

I don't have a good feeling about Best Buy shipping this movie. It's in a sold out status and Best Buy tells me my order should ship by 4/14/21, the day it's set to automatically cancel. Unfortunately I went down this same path years ago with GoG2. There are six other people in the same state as me but that doesn't mean much.

It will be a miracle if Best Buy actually fulfills my order and the other folks. I should have pre-ordered it earlier; I waited until 3/26/21 to pre-order it.

Anyone else waiting for their order from Best Buy for this movie?

Amazon also has it in stock as well. I was able to use store credit and a Reward Zone certificate to drop this down to $17.99. That's reasonable but I am not going to pay $34.99 for it. So I am hoping beyond hope that Best Buy actually gets this in before 4/14/21 and ships it to me.

Highly enjoyed double feature of this and Day of the Beast. Loved the actors and story. Kept thinking about this compared to Natural Born Killers and some other genre movies like this and thought this was more fun and unapologetically nasssssty. No reference point to compare to dvd, but thought it looked pretty darn good and also sounded great. I blind bought this and was very happy with the purchase.

Somehow I've never seen this. I've read through this entire thread and still can't make sense of what version is included on the new Severin release. The listing on B-R.com says it's 126 minutes, but Amazon says it's 130 minutes, and Severin's site doesn't list the running time at all. It sounds like the most complete/director's cut/etc., but there are other releases out there too. Anybody know if this is the version to get?

The box art and the displayed runtime while you're playing the movie has it at 130 minutes. I don't know which cut that would be since I'm not very familiar with the movie.

OK, this does sound like the definitive release. It's unfortunate that no one has confirmed and updated some of the details on this site though, like running time (126 min is apparently wrong) and the included 2.0 audio (lists only 5.1). Somebody that owns this could update the page and add a back cover pic too.

Runtime is 02:09:58 and it's all there incl. Vera Cruz. PQ is very nice as well. So yes, rather definitive in my book.
