I just detailed what I found. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Criterion hasn't released all of those titles on Blu-ray. They're not all re-releases either. Several are being released on Blu-ray for the first time. Let me guess. You're one of those glass is half empty types.

Don’t Look Now, La Dolce Vita, Days of Heaven and Rosemary’s Baby were already released by Criterion. That’s what I was referring to. And I’m not sure why you think I was mad at you for posting this.

I'm not mad at you for posting what you did and nothing in my reply to you should have given you that impression. You said that I love to see it. You said that I love to see Paramount doing re-releases of movies that Criterion already released instead of ones that aren’t on Blu-ray. That statement isn't true. I don't love to see that. In fact, my reply stressed the exact opposite. And by the way, I'm not mad at you now either. As for re-releases, existing releases do go out of print, then becoming very expensive on the used market. Distribution rights can also be lost, so re-releases are never a bad thing. I do agree though. I'd much rather see more in the way of titles brought to Blu-ray for the first time than re-releases.

Saw an early copy when I was picking up some discs as my favorite indie retailer who lets me see what he gets shipped in. Not interested in this one for myself so I don't have the disc to confirm for sure but remembered people were talking about it being DD 5.1 so thought I'd take a picture of the back of the case. Looks like Paramount updated the specs from the early back cover art. Looks to be a pressed disc too, non of the MOD signs like a logoless bluray case or anything.

Apologies for the picture quality, I just do the pics fairly quick and dirty.

for the money i was expecting a dated master.
and paramount has delivered.
dvd era i would say.
i wouldn't call it a disaster - average at best.
still, at lease lossless audio.
