Don't see it happening but there are a ton of Marvel properties that I think would be right up Nolan's alley.
Marvel encompasses Sci-Fi, Drama, Horror, period pieces, Noir, Gothic.
Come to the dark side, Chris.

Lol.

I'd love to see him do a Dr Doom movie though.

Maybe Nolan should do a Peanuts movie.

Nolan's version of Days of Future Past.

Wolverine has to keep going through the Tenet door

Doctor Doom is what I am thinking about. But I think Nolan would want an obscure character with creative freedom.

It depends on how "connected" the next phase is. If every movie needs to head towards the "big event", then yeah it's a bad fit. If Eternals or Shang Chi etc are just strong, independent movies who don't need no Avengers build...then sure..**** it.

I don't even know why Eternals has to be connected to The Avengers. Kinda like X-Men. The X-Men usually like to stay away from Avengers activities in the comics. Even Nick Fury once said he stays away from mutant politics. Some Marvel characters just belong in their own circles.

Who says there is a direct apparent connection?

I don't understand the aversion to stuff being interconnected. Isn't that part of the fun of a cinematic universe?

That's what everyone comes to to expect in these MCU projects, right?

I think this next phase is going to have 2 groups: solo movies (like phase 1, there might be ramifications later on) and interconnected (like the team up movies [more like Ragnarok and the Spider-Man Homecoming]).

It's different. Marvel comics is suppose to be a community of superheroes with each team having their own methods and rules. The MCU is currently Avengers-centric at the moment.

We'll see. It wasn't too long ago that Kevin Feige got the rights tot the Fox characters back, so I'm thinking he is still trying to figure it out.

Everyone talking about format but the fact that Feige is letting Deadpool stay R-rated points to a little flexibility to the in house style. Feige might just let Nolan do his thing on film as Iron Man was shot on 35mm I think, they've DMR'd to hell to look like the rest of the films but you never know.
