I am mystified that the Blu-ray.com reviewer gave this such a high rating.

Kirk Cameron just needs to disappear through a black hole at this point.

This movie is fun and good. Kirk Cameron just needs to start really acting again if he ever wants to. I am not going to even bring up some of his recent work but for those projects you summed it up nicely. Like Father, Like Son is the 80's Growing Pains Kirk we all like.

This was around $11.49 or $11.99 earlier this morning and now it's up to $13.49. Anyone know who they are trying to price match? I missed out on the earlier price and still haven't ordered, but I enjoy this movie and would certainly prefer it over the Mill Creek release.

80s Kirk was a smart-aleck punk, I'm glad he found the LORD. Yes, he was a prick about it early on but I understand he mended fences with his tv family. People just like to use Kirk to Christian-bash. God bless you all!

This is a really fun body switching movie. I should probably pick it up before it goes up in price again. Would like Bingo to get a bit cheaper as well.

Thank you both! I was unsure about the logo that was somewhat visible on the spine of the Sony version. Will be getting this, I want at least a copy, haven't seen this in ages.

I eventually went for the Mill Creek release, because I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much for a movie I wasn't sure I liked that much. In the end the transfer is ok, I usually watch my stuff on a small tv anyway 18-20" and it was more than acceptable. In the end it was worth the small expense, and glad didn't buy the Sony version.

The movie, for me, is not good enough to warrant the spend, I found it often boring, especially the Dudley Moore scenes.

I got it with the o-card from DeepDiscount.

The newer Sony Blu-ray re-release is only $6.99 at Amazon currently, so it's an even better buy right now than the older Mill Creek release... and the transfer is leaps and bounds superior.

I'm surprised it's gone that cheap so quickly, but it was also a surprise that it was released so quickly after the Mill Creek release was.

Us 'zon is no longer available to Swiss residents, and it's full price at DeepDiscount, hence my decision to go for the Mill Creek one.

It looks like the Mill Creek release is still in print as well. Obviously the Sony version is the one to get. This is an interesting case here because this was licensed out to Mill Creek and Sony put their own release out within months of Mill Creek's. So can studios put their own release out anytime they want even if they license a movie out to a boutique label? that is obviously what happened here.

All buying the Mill Creek release is gonna do is make you want to buy the Sony release.

Definitely a great price. I've been hoping Bingo gets this cheap as well. Haven't been able to find any blu reviews/comments on the latter. The Mill Creek of LFLS should not be on anyone's radar at this point.

Seriously though stay clear of the Mill Creek release it's not even better than the DVD version. It's worth it to pay more for the Sony BD.
