Got my ISPU today, had a gash in the plastic but not damaged thankfully. My first embossed Steelbook in my collection (at least from what I can remember) and it’s f’n Howard the Duck on 4K.

I like how this movie always causes a chuckle with whoever I’m interacting with at a store. I traded in a DVD copy years ago and the guy at the counter laughed and reminisced about not seeing it in years. Same thing happened today with the associate at Best Buy.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've seen it.

I do remember thinking that Howard looked a bit like Macaulay Culkin when he was little. haha

I ordered for ISPU and got a email today saying it will be a delay on picking it up.

No shortage at my store but they tend to order a lot. They had even more Space Jam, can't see those going fast either.
I could see grabbing it at $15 or less but not in a big hurry.

They didn't know when that location I selected would get it and if store didn't get it by 7/20 the order would be cancelled so they switched it to different location that had it in stock.

first ever damaged steelbook from Best Buy. kinda pissed since i can't get it replaced at the moment (no store around me within 80 miles of me has copies & talked to a chat rep through best buy's site & someone through the phone & said it's possible it won't get a restock.) it also doesn't help that they sent it in a bubble mailer, yet the 4 steelbooks i got yesterday (2 copies of Scott Pilgrim, Mortal Engines & Space Jam) were all in boxes.

i guess i'll have to wait until zavvi ships their steelbook out next month

This one is going to sell out quick. It's a Marvel movie and has 80's nostalgia appeal. Not going to last long and most likely unless they make more you will have to pay more than $24.99 to get the steelbook.

Good to hear I won't have my copy for a few days Best Buy didn't ship it till today. Sold out now at their site. I was going to do store pickup today and buy a second copy but all of them sold out really fast. Likely Marvel steelbook collectors snagging all of them, resellers or just steelbook collectors who knows. Glad the 4K transfer is very good. I really like the look of this steelbook.

I ran right up to my local BB after seeing this last post! lol

I didn't realize it sold out online already and I had canceled my zavvi for BB since it was cheaper and easier.

It was the last one in store and the disc was loose and I almost didn't buy it, but decided to take the risk. It seems pretty clean, maybe a tiny scratch, but I think it should be ok.

The steelbook seems to be a 9 out of 10, so I'm pretty happy with that.

Happy to have this 4k Marvel steelbook added to my collection!

It's still available at some locations but they are not shipping them anymore. So it's not totally sold out yet. Who knows if it will be restocked but usually the time to buy it is when you see it. I can totally see it selling out if Best Buy doesn't restock it.
