There was a testscreening of the 116 minute version, but not too sure of the quality of it.

The editor Bob Murawski does talk about the movie and the MPAA.

And from 24:25 he talks about the copies thwy made of the pre MPAA version. So who knows when that gets released.

Same... I feel like Kino may have mislabeled it, but I'd love to be wrong. But Hard Target in 4K at all is a shock, so I'll take it.

News to me that the international cut is considered Woo's cut.

Meanwhile, if MVD Rewind has been able to get JCVD multiple times, don't see why Kino can't.

Despite the lack of workprint (I need to digitize my VHS, lol), this may end up being the best official release of the film. New master, new interviews... I'll take it.

Just read this about the movie while looking into JCVD and his bringing the Hong Kong directors over.

(the JCVD approximation of a Cajun accent is a thing of beauty, like a painting someone’s set on fire)

Either Bob Murawski is mistaken or Kino apparently aren't aware of this. This will surely be the last word for the film, so hopefully all avenues are exhausted. I wonder if Murawski has been contacted at all?

Foreign releases have multiple cuts. Murica just got what was in the cinemas.
