That's worrying. Hopefully it's not another Ishtar situation (from Indicator) with the whole release recently being canned right before release.

That's almost what it's sounding like. If it was just a simple delay or something, I doubt they'd completely remove all traces of it from their online presence.

The release has been cancelled as per Severin.

Another label has it. Kind of a disaster/embarrassment for them. Hopefully they get their money back and weren't totally scammed though.

Either Lionsgate got involved and still has home entertainment rights and are going to release it through their Vestron line or Universal had already made a prior deal with Kino, Arrow or Shout!

That's messed up, am leaning towards Vestron.

LionsGate released the DVD, but it has always had the New Line logo before it.

I'm expecting Vestron or Shout.

IF it is with Universal...

Kino have 2 1990 films in their Universal deal.

One is a TV movie, but the other is not. And there's a very good chance it is something with a prior DVD release (there's only about 4 other 1990 candidates).

Funnily enough, one of the 90s titles is a Code Red/Scorpion pick. How funny it would be if Bill picked it, bearing in mind his recent posts about it.
