BR:2049 is definitely better than the first movie. Scott's one had great visuals but it was very boring.

Other than the date I had to go see this and one of my friends, pretty much anyone I know in my personal life has hated 2049 and was never a fan of the original anyway.

Personally, I hold this and Doctor Sleep as far better than their respective predecessors.

I mean.... I don't think the movie deserves hatred. It's got pretty visuals but not much else going. But nothing about it is worth hating.

I'm confused why so many people talk about others HATING Blade Runner 2049.

Most people I know either found it boring or ok.

Not a single one HATED it or even thought it was below average.
