What is (very heavily) implied, is that the novel sequel, is the sequel to the movie.

Sorry, your op is so incoherent it’s actually difficult to make out what you’re saying. Maybe add more brackets next time?

Blade Runner 2049 is a masterpiece. No slander is allowed here. How dare you.

Why is it that outside these forums, I have never met anyone who had a positive opinion about BR49?

BR:2049 is definitely better than the first movie. Scott's one had great visuals but it was very boring.

They sounded uh... interesting, from what I remember.

Other than the date I had to go see this and one of my friends, pretty much anyone I know in my personal life has hated 2049 and was never a fan of the original anyway.

Personally, I hold this and Doctor Sleep as far better than their respective predecessors.

I mean.... I don't think the movie deserves hatred. It's got pretty visuals but not much else going. But nothing about it is worth hating.

I know hate is a strong word, but I throw it around rather loosely.

How is it incoherent?
Also, what's all this about the brackets?
It just makes it easier to read
Don't get what all the fuss is about

Because they're normal people

Reviving this thread!

I'm confused why so many people talk about others HATING Blade Runner 2049.

Most people I know either found it boring or ok.

Not a single one HATED it or even thought it was below average.

It’s not boring or just okay. It’s a masterwork of sci-fi noir.
