I'm in a different boat to most, as I remember not liking much about the first film, but with the lack of releases and the 4K option, I'm tempted to pick up the UK UHD.

Received mine today and totally missed that Sony is doing UHD-only in the states as well now. Fine, but please lower the price then... But guess I better be glad I at least received the digital code.

Shit- I heard this movie had that. I haven’t bought any Sony titles since they started doing that last year- did any of their recent titles NOT have that? (I might still buy Last Action Hero if anyone can confirm they didn’t do it on that.) There should be a master list of offending discs- disgusting that they would do that even on a “premium” format which costs more and is harder to find while overall physical media sales are declining like never before. They never would have gotten away with something like that on laserdisc in the 90s.

Sad the referenced review didn’t call that out either- if I ever reviewed a disc that did that I would tear them apart for it (I do write reviews for another site but have never gotten any discs with these forced menus. I’ve given bad ratings for far less offenses though.)

While I didn't love the film - finding it mainly to be a retread of the first movie - I think they did a great job with the release of the film on disc, including not just one but two commentary tracks. The second commentary track is recorded entirely in Spanish, but it's subtitled in English for English speakers to be able to listen to.

I thought this one was good. Some good cinematography and cool kills. First one was better, but this one was enjoyable as well.

Surprised was at a BB and all of the Don't Breathe 2 4K's there were without slips. The movie came out very recently. I know it's on sale but I didn't buy since I want the slip.

I placed an order for ISPU at 2 different stores.

1 store's order had no slip, the other store had a pretty good slip. I wanted a better one though and happened to find 1 left on the shelf, so I swapped them.

Saw this at Best Buy as well and none of them had slips. I've heard some people got it with a slip from Amazon though.

Can confirm. None of the BB's in my area had slips for this, but my Amazon order came with a slipcover.

I'd really like to see this because I loved the first, but I'm not sure it's worth a blind buy based on some of the critical reception.

My copy from BB came in today with no slip (that's fine) but the case was a 2 disc with an empty blu slot. Weird choice considering it never had a blu to begin with.

Surprisingly good effort I think. I didn't expect much but it's got a good story and both the horror and gore the genre requires. I found this also to have a very nice cinematography. Alot of the film however takes places in dimly lit surroundings so it can look pretty flat during those scenes. Obviously I can't compare it with a bd but going with what I saw in the extras it should look good as well. Otherwise, this is most likely the last disc I watched on my C9 as I'm getting a bigger G1 this week
