Thats not the same as no response to emails about out of stock never being delivered (i.e. for months) which is what all the negative posts are about.

Got a response after emailing all 4 addresses like previously suggested. That response included an apology and a confirmation of Kwaidan being shipped.

Thanks for the advice earlier. I managed to cancel my Amazon order in time as well.

I just cancelled all my remaining pre-orders fm UV and they've sent me the refunds. I've pretty much had it with their crap and would rather pay more to order elsewhere.
If this company doesn't smarten up, they will lose a lot of customers. I cancelled all my Pre orders as well, there was one title in which it took 2 months to finally ship.

I sent another email to unorganized View, received a message saying that they are overwhelmed by emails and I wonder what from. This company is really pissing me off and sounds like a lot of others as well, I have never known a company so Unorganized and right after they changed their website as before I never had any problems with them.

UV reminds me of a client company I had when I was freelancing. One of the times I went to their office their receptionist was complaining to the office personal they had just lost a business customer because nobody replied to the email she forwarded to the staff.

The staff said nothing and continued to drink beer at their desk including the boss who had a big fish in a little tank which kept staring at me.

I swear the fish was the most attentive of anybody there.

My initial experiences with this company were largely favourable, but holy cow, things have taken a turn.

I ordered a couple of in-stock movies three weeks ago, have heard nothing, nor have I received Kolchak, which I'd preordered weeks before its release date. They haven't replied to my polite inquiry of a week ago.

Also wasn't all that impressed with the squished up bubble-wrap envelope in which the Maniac Cops arrived. Don't really care about slipcovers, but it'd be nice if they weren't bent along the spine.

FWIW, for those emailing the 4 addresses, according to the email from UV, for Black Friday, Kerry and Steve are both leaving the company.

In my own enquiries, I have also received replies from Dory. I don't know if she's the only CS person, but if so she is probably quite overwhelmed.

Hopefully they get things in order, at UV. They have a great selection and sometimes excellent sales. Of course, these things don't mean much if you don't get what you've ordered.

The inability to fill even simple orders started many months ago not lately and with $150 required to get free shipping there is no point ordering from the site anymore.

I'm not sure if that's a response to my post, but I certainly didn't imply that fulfilment is a recent issue. I'm well aware that it is not. It's been a long time problem with ordering from UV. It's particularly frustrating because the owner of UV sent out an email, in August, stating that these issues (including fulfilment, customer support, and turnaround) had been rectified. I found that encouraging, but have not experienced it, and have read a lot of the same complaints from others.

The main point of my post was to make people aware that two of the email addresses they may have found helpful will no longer be useful.

Regarding free shipping, yeah, it's a very high limit, but some of their sales (particularly the KL sale) have been substantial enough that even the $3.50 shipping fee has been tolerable.

Yeah, having two people leave with 20 years experience in the same month, tells me something is not right behind the scenes. Let's hope they can get things in order because it's been too long that these same issues have persisted now.
