I watched the color version yesterday and really enjoyed it! I found the animation to be solid and loved the designs and color. The plot may be a little on the thin side, but the animation added a lot to my enjoyment.

I placed a pre-order with Amazon US back in October for the region A disc, which, up until today, they were telling me would be delivered yesterday. Questioned a rep via chat and he said they now have no projected release date. Checked out a few other retailers, including the US-based BBC Shop, and no one else is even offering it. So I cancelled my order and placed a new order for the region B disc. At least I know it's been released. Not holding out any hope for a region A disc of The Abominable Snowmen either.

Thats exactly what I did. I am waiting just a little longer before I actually order The Abominable Snowmen but its definitle going to be a uk version.
