This show was great. I have some questions, but greatly looking forward to Season 2.

It was weird seeing different actresses playing younger versions of Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci, because we obviously know what they looked like when they were younger. That kind of thing is always distracting to me, but anyway, great show.

I wish it was more just the fact that they went crazy and turned against each other and one thing led to another, which it seems like is basically what happens, just with the supernatural stuff added in.

But it doesn’t really take away from it for me.

I know what you mean. I was thinking the same thing watching it. I didn't think all that was needed. It was compelling enough as is.

I actually just ended up laughing at the
[Show spoiler]Evil Dead homage in the cabin during the séance or whatever.

how ****ed up.
[Show spoiler]Agreed. Honestly I thought we were going to find out the kid killed the dog at some point so I was expecting it to be dead but damn it was still sad and disturbing.

Anyway I've watched this show over the past week. Just finished season 1 a little bit ago. I love it. I was so relieved to see it has already been renewed for a second season. I hope they get to make the five seasons they pitched. It's very addicting and I hope more check it out. If they release it on Blu-ray I'd like to get it to lend it to friends. I know a lot of people that would be into this.

Christina Ricci is definitely the MVP of the show.

I agree Ricci is the MVP as she always been. She really is a powerhouse. I really want an announcement for the Blu-Ray soon. Dexter New Blood came quick. This show already become a phenomenon i wonder whats taking them so long to announce a release for it. Hoping it will also have lots of goodies on the set.

This show is just ok. It’s kinda like work watching it, but I still hang in there.

I’m shocked that Melanie Lynskey (adult Shauna) just won a Critics Choice Award for the show. She plays a completely unbelievable character, IMO. Not her fault, it’s the characters writing.

I will watch Season 2, but I hope they show more of them when they were kids, as that doesn’t feel like so much work to watch for me.

This show is quite a ride. I love the premise and hope Season 2 delves more into the flashbacks we see in episode 1; that’s what immediately hooked me.

No, I do, but I don’t love it.

Just certain characters, like Shauna, bug me to no end.

I’m just overly critical. I will keep watching, for sure.

Yeah, this is one that I'd probably pick up on BD as I really enjoyed it. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the second season.

I'm only seeing a DVD listing at this point in time, but the release date is July 19th.

I'm kind of surprised it's even getting a DVD release! For myself, I'd only buy it on BD, but I'm sure plenty of people will buy this! And that gets a good, well-done series in front of more folks, so I'm all for it.

In this article it is mentioned that the series will be "also manufactured on demand on BD". So I guess that means BD-R.

I was excited for this. I didn't make it through even 1 episode. I wanted a series where it started with the plane crash and then we see them doing what's necessary to survive. Instead it looked like all that would be told in flashbacks.

I was enthralled with the first season and devoured it within a week (pun intended) and really have to say it got better with each succeeding episode. I really hope season two is able to keep the momentum going!
