I just saw Raya for the first time last week & my first thought was...Damn, I wish I would have seen this movie in the theatre. I adored the movie! But with covid craziness I missed it...I got my ticket & am hoping its Raya.

I do hope it is Raya, as that's the only showtime I'm going to right now, and I haven't seen the movie yet. I wouldn't be against it being Zootopia, or Moana though. I really hope it's not Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Cinemaphile can you rule out Ralph? ![]() Last edited by MifuneFan; 11-10-2021 at 04:35 PM. |

They said these will all have a "surprise short" so not necessarily the same one it came with theatrically, if one did come with any of the films. We don't know if the runtime they're showing factors in the runtime of the short as well. Presumably it doesn't, since the Star Wars one is Rogue one, and that fits the 2hr 13 min mark exactly.
So if the runtimes shown are exactly the runtimes of the film, the only two that line up exactly are Moana, and Raya. With it being afan-favorite, it has to be Moana. |

And I believe that only Pixar and WDAS will have a short before the screening and they are usually taken into account (in order to allow people to schedule their day properly). |

When I booked my ticket, I was the only one in the row. And then yesterday I saw someone book a seat right next to me on the left side. Now someone booked one on the right side of me. If the theater fills up, it won't really matter, but if there's a mostly empty theater, I tend to space myself at least one seat away from someone else, even independent of the pandemic. I just feel like that's a good social courtesy. Maybe that's just me.

Hate when people do that, pandemic or otherwise.
We’re talking a few measly feet away from the center. There’s no need to crowd a person who’s already secured their center seat. When there’s obviously other options and rows available. For a Disney re-release, no less. For a big time blockbuster opening night, I could see if they’re desperate for that prime spot, but again, common courtesy and all that. |

Unless a theater is pretty full, you should leave an empty space between yourself and others. And if there's not stadium seating, don't sit directly in front of someone else. And take your trash out with you. Of course, no talking, phones, etc.
I was taught these things as a kid. Some people just weren't raised right. |
