I gotta say, having the Netflix actors return will be a bit weird in making a clean cut change but Vincent back as Kingpin needs to happen even if they change and tweak him a bit.

They can easily just use the multiverse as an excuse on why the characters are being played by the same actors, while at the same time retconning all the events that happened from the Netflix series.

They aren't gonna go multiverse with these guys. Daredevil is still canon.

While there is no official confirmation that the Netflix Marvel Universe is canon with the MCU (c'mon, everyone, this debate has been beaten to death), I don't see anything from either universe that contradicts or would create any continuity errors between the two worlds.
...Actually, there is one minor thing. In wide shots from the Netflix shows, they failed to digitally replace the Metlife Building with the Avengers Tower. Like I said though, that is minor as mostly only us super-fans (geeks) notice it. My wife and kids can never remember where that building is supposed to be so they never notice it.

I could be wrong. Has anyone else seen anything from the shows or movies that would cause problems with calling it canon? I'm only talking about the Netflix vs. MCU stuff. The ABC, Hulu, etc. shows are a completely different discussion.

I don't see any reason that Daredevil wouldn't be cannon. It directly references a major event from the films. Most of the first season is about criminals cashing in on the fallout from Loki's attack.

No. It's only canon if the movies reference it, not the other way around. At this point, who cares. Everything Marvel related for the past 20 years is canon now.

I feel like it’s canon unless something has been contradicted in the MCU. So yeah, fans can say whatever they want is canon until it’s been proven wrong.

In the case of Hawkeye though, they went out of their way to show Kingpin in a flashback with his black suit and cuff links. These were important first season Daredevil details they could have easily ignored if they wanted to draw a line in the sand saying the show wasn’t canon.

I dont think a Black suit really means anything other than being a nod or easter egg. And it's not like the Daredevil Netflix show said anything about Kingpin owning any used car shop or car repair shop, or showed him working with the track suit mafia or even taking care of Maya. So everything that happened on that netflix show had to have happened in a different timeline.

It’s definitely a nod, but my point was they didn’t have to do that. If they wanted everyone to know the Netflix show was not canon, they could have avoided any nods.

Also the track suits not being in Daredevil means nothing, we saw he worked with them in a flashback from over a decade ago, way before the start of Daredevil, and then now after the blip. We last saw him going back to jail. We don’t know what he had to do to get back on top. I’m sure he was calling up any old contacts to help him get his power back.

So far I think Mike Coulter and Kelsey Grammer remain the two best comic interpretations I have ever seen and I REALLY hope they both show up again. A LOT.
