It's definitely a classic and holds up 25 years later.

Wow, 25 years?! Jeez. I literally haven't seen this movie since my friends and I watched it in the theater our senior year of high school. I remember it just being okay at best, but I suppose it's time to revisit it.

I like how Myron couldn't get the name right or just didn't care(maybe both), even into the third act of the film. "Turtle Man!"

What's truly unbelievable is how grown men bullied a child over a freakin' Star Wars character.

I'm with the movie up until
[Show spoiler]he puts on the Turbo-man suit and the parade etc. It kind of loses me

But the last/post-credit scene (depending what version you watch)
[Show spoiler] with Rita Wilson asking "What'd you get me?"
is a great pay-off.

I'll add Christmas Vacation to that 'family Christmas comedy' list.

I watched this on Disney+ about a week ago with my girlfriend and my daughter, and I nearly did a spit take when I heard a very homophobic slur come from a kid telling Booster they didn't like them, to put it lightly, during the parade scene.

I'm surprised Disney didn't censor that out.

Jingle All the Way didn't look too bad upscaled on a 4K TV. It looks good enough. Since it's a Christmas movie, most people are not going to watch it all year round anyway, only during the Christmas season.

It looks not so good projected on the wall.

Well that's probably why. People have different kind of tvs, projectors and video settings. On my 65" LG OLED, it looks pretty good upscale in 4K.

I only saw this movie one time, a few years ago, and thought it was pretty ridiculous. But then again, I'm not a parent, so I have no frame of reference for being desperate to make my kid happy at Christmas.

This would’ve been a good 45 minute tv show episode. But as a movie it felt too long and was only 90 minutes

Shoot, I may have only ever seen this in its censored form then.

Ridiculous how? It not the traditional Christmas film, that depict the true meaning of the holiday, but it was still entertaining. Jingle All the Way is a Christmas movie for the entire family. A person doesn't have to be a parent and have children to enjoy it.

I don't recall a homophobic slur in the movie, and I've seen it numerous of times. Whatever was said it was perceived the wrong way.

No, it’s 100% a homophobic slur.

During the parade when the kids start stomping on Booster, a kid screams out “We don’t like you, f—!”
