Haha! I'd need a fair amount of sales for that, but I'd give it a go ha!

Thank you that is much appreciated! I am very new to any forum believe it or not, but I look forward to contributing and having a good ol' chat about all things 3D!

OK, I just watched Halloween Jack 3D!

First thing I have to say is that the 3D is medium in a few shots, but mostly it ranges from strong to VERY strong to EXTREME in close up shots!

A couple shots are so extreme that they make you go cross eyed, ha ha! In general, think Jaws 3 in 3D or Friday the 13th Part 3 3D (there's a nice homage to that movie but I won't spoil it) and you'll have an idea of the 3D strength!

That was a very welcome surprise, I wasn't expecting so many intense 3D effects - well done on that!

The colours were a bit off unfortunately, in particular flesh tones looked a bit yellow in certain shots, but let's not forget this is a micro budget movie.

The movie itself is what you'd expect - simple story, the acting is of course not Oscar worthy, but it's silly and goofy and fun. Given that it's only 64 minutes long, it takes its time to get going but who cares when the true star of the show is the never ending in-your-face 3D.

I don't think I'd recommend watching it in 2D. It's truly a throwback to 80s gimmicky 3D movies - so if you like those, you should appreciate this for what it is. They don't make them like this anymore!

I can confirm that the film plays in full frame-packed 3D, or SBS 3D (plus the anaglyph 3D version, with only 1 pair of red/cyan glasses included).

Well done, Phil if you read this - for such a low budget, you've achieved a stronger 3D experience than I thought was possible these days!

That arrived really quickly, I think that means you are the very first person to watch the film outside of the cast and crew

Thanks so much for your fair review, I agree with your entire review.

I loved making my first ever 3D movie, for as long as I can remember I've always wanted to make a 3D film.
I've learnt so much, like a few shots where some of the yellow colour is a bit off. These little blemishes or errors on my part are all there for me to improve on for the next films to make them bigger and better than before.

I'm so relieved that you found the 3D strong and you found it fun, that's completely made my day as that was a worry for me!
I just want folks to relax, have a little giggle and a good time watching it, and hopefully never be bored.

Thanks again for your kind and fair review. I hope you liked the 3D Lobby Cards

Got mine today, very well packaged I must say, a padded envelope and a box. With a 64 minute runtime I'm looking forward to watching the movie soon.

Earlier today, I fully delved into this thread, and it all looks intriguing. When I noticed the anaglyph version, and that shipping is worldwide, I ordered it! I'm here to support small indie filmmakers that love 3D!

When I got to order it says it can't verify my address, I guess because there's the apartment and there's only 1 address line so I combined them, I say yes and it goes away and nothing happens. No confirmation page or e-mail, no charge or my credit card. Tried twice.

I'm sorry you're having issues trying to purchase the bluray
Can I ask which platform you're trying on: eBay or GUMROAD?
Maybe try one or the other and see if you have some success there.
Sorry I can't be more help right now.

I meant to post my thoughts but forgot, I really enjoyed this, I don't think the trailer sells it well as it plays a lot better than the trailer made it look. 3D was great. If you're a fan of slasher movies as I am then there's a lot to enjoy here. Could've probably benefit from a slightly larger cast and with an hour running time, might as well do another twenty minutes so it feels like a full traditional feature.

I'm in awe of this being made as a low budget 3D movie. I'll have to check out the commentary.

Love the artwork and art cards being in 3D, great little touch when you pop on the anaglyph glasses.

Kudos to Phil West. Great 3D. Plenty of depth, placement and picture quality despite a shoestring budget. Was very impressed even though watching the side by side version by mistake LOL. Then caught a bit of the full 3D entry to see the total effect. Was there a reason putting both versions on disc?

Only 64 minutes long and typical, predictable horror movie fare. But there were some nice creative touches adding to the suspense including the camp owner telling us the story by campfire.

3D lovers will be happy with this one. Nice extras included. Definitely recommended.

Mine just arrived. I must say pleasantly surprised at the fine packaging. Reading the reviews so far I can't wait to watch it.
