I mean I'm down for more Ghosty. I liked S5. Didn't love all the new supporting cast, but enjoyed nonetheless. Honestly, I've liked every sequel except for 3. So gimme some more.

Don't give them any ideas. The motive in the newest film was bad enough.

Honestly, they need to drop the Stab storyline ASAP. It's tired.

Theatres vs. VOD is this entire message board and if that's the next motive, I will SCREAM in the theatre.

Imagine the killer holding a knife pointing it at Tara.. "I'm still a real fan if I wait for VOD.. I have a home theatre system that's better than most theatres!"

And then proceed to rattle off brand names and model numbers to try to further impress her.

The killer is also mad because Stab 9 got spoiled for him by the other characters who saw it in theatres

It could also go the opposite way, with the killer losing their mind over the fact that people don't go out to movie theaters and ranting about VOD day 1 releases killing the tradition of opening night in the theater, kids watching on their phones these days, etc.

wasn't the whole point of that attack to just injure Ortega to get Samantha back in woodsboro like Billy and Stu the killer knew where to strike to prevent death I dunno lol

It was...but I still think the b***h would have bled out...end of movie

Probably would have been more satisfying...and if she died, wouldn't Sam come back for the funeral?

She wouldn’t have bled out necessarily, the police were arriving just as she had gotten stabbed.

Well yeah I mean the film's narrative is structured that way. I'm just saying the attack was pretty brutal and I didn't really buy that she'd make it. Then again, I found it hard to believe what happened to Dewey too (and by who) so....I just had issues with this film. I knooooow I'm in the minority but I just wasn't really able to enjoy it as a fun ride the way I could the others in the series.

They need to make the motives more personal again. While it was cute the way they did it in Scre4m, Scream 5 was just lame as hell.

I’m happy we are getting a sixth one. I liked the newer cast too and wouldn’t mind seeing them again.

This exactly! I don't really understand why so many people dislike Scream 4 when it seems like it aged pretty well. I like it even more than Scream 2 personally, but understand why others wouldn't go that far.

In terms of returning characters.
[Show spoiler]I'd assume that Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox aren't coming back even though they survived. The last scene of the movie felt like them saying goodbye to the series.

The funny thing is now I could see Neve coming to them to ask to be involved . These movies are an easy big payday for her and celebrities always love a few extra million to upkeep that lifestyle but to be honest I’d rather they just leave Sid and Gale behind now it’s time to move on and any return now will not have the same impact as the 22 movie and you can’t kill either of them or they will completely destroy the first 4 movies and Sid’s journey so just leave them be that chapter of the legacy is over

Didn't Neve Campbell already say she'd be happy to return in an interview last month?

Maybe. I'm not familiar with the interview. But what people say in front of the cameras can be different from how they actually feel.

Either way, I'm thinking that they'll do the film without her. Her character was kind of shown to be done with everything Ghostface, at least that was my interpretation. She handed the franchise over to the Sam character.

Scream 5 was good, and I thought it ended well.

Has me liking the Matrix Resurrections approach.. make a sequel so godawful it kills the franchise for a generation.

[Show spoiler] I mean who wants Scream without Dewey?

She'd said she return if she liked the script.
