The 355 - February 22nd, 2022

This was fun but i feel it really needed perhaps 1 or 2 larger set pieces, particularly in the second half. I thought this watching Ava but The 355 cemented it for me, Jessica Chastain looks so awkward and uncomfortable doing action scenes. Her movements are so slow and it always looks like she's trying to remember the next bit of choreography, particularly during her fight scenes. I thought the rest of the cast was good though and Diane Kruger was fantastic, she should do more action movies. Fan Bingbing has a really distracting lisp that i never noticed before lol. Lupita and Penelope were both good in their roles. I liked Sebastian Stan's performance too, he seemed so jaded with everything ha ha.

A decent action spy thriller but the lack of any truly memorable set pieces hurts it i think and Kinberg lacks that deft touch that someone like Christopher McQuarrie has with this kind of entertainment.

In case anyone was waiting for a further price drop. I just ordered this on Gruv for $10.99

Was waiting for this to drop to around the $10 range so $10.99 was good enough for me. Thought it was a decent action movie and I really like the cast.
