What a blow. Oh well, better that they delay it and get everything right. I have little time these days anyway. How many hundreds of blu rays (and even dvds) are sitting unwatched at home? Who can say.

Pretty sure this won't be one that suffers that ignominious fate though!

How do you feel about these movies, as a blind buy? I've enjoyed all the Jackie Chan / Sammo Hung / Yuen Biao movies I've purchased from Eureka/88 Films. I was less impressed with the Joseph Kuo directed ones (not Golden Harvest) although to be honest I haven't watched much of that set.

If you like Fist of fury style flicks, you won`t go wrong with Hapkido. Angela Mao is great+gorgeous. Plus there is crazy flying kick worth seeing..haven`t seen LW.

I love both of them, though be warned Lady Whirlwind's fighting is rather primitive compared to Hapkido. Sammo, Angela and co improved a lot between films.

And if these US trailers don't sell you, nothing will.

I saw bits of Lady Whirlwind on The Best Of Martial Arts comp, always wanted to see a bit more of her, she was impressive as Bruce Lee's sister in ETD, the only other time i'd seen her on film.

I am a huge fan of Jackie Chan and I also like a lot of Sammo and Biao, mostly the more modern stuff and their JC collaborations. But I find Angela Mao to be a hard watch. To me her moves looks really sloppy and im rarely sold on the impact of her kicks and punches. However, Hapkido is a good movie imo, but not because of Angela Mao. I havent seen the other one.

I wish Hapkido got its individual release!
