I received a similar email last night saying that because I am a gigabit internet customer, Peacock Premium will remain free for me through June 25, 2025.

Aside from the email you shared, do you happen to have any additional information about this offer? Do you have to actively sign up for "Xfinity Rewards" or would any long term customers (whatever Diamond or Platinum means) simply be grandfathered in? It would be nice to get an offer such as this instead of canceling or signing up for another monthly fee ($3/month). Thanks.

I think you have to sign up, but then it places you in a tier based on how long you've been a customer. Platinum is 7 years, Diamond 14. Make sure they put you in the right one, I originally had to call because they put me too low.

Yeah, they backpedaled getting rid of it for everyone pretty quickly haha. I'm sure it's going to be a big drop in users for them, something the advertisers might not like. They don't add enough shows/movies to really make subscribing worthwhile; their back catalog also isn't as large as other services.

It's getting slightly better though. Poker Face and Based on the True Story were both good (Poker Face actually being great). Renfield and Polite Society are nice recent movie adds too, but they're not putting out a lot of strictly Peacock exclusives that won't eventually be available on other platforms or can be bought on physical media.

The app now showing to click on a tab to get Peacock Premium for free. Not certain how long it is for as I forgot to click on Terms and Conditions. Now it states “We’re sorry, looks like this reward is not available to you at this time”

Keep your trash channel, Xfinity. Let me know when you actually put something worth a damn on the streaming platform

I got an email this morning from XFinity, apparently they want to charge $2.99 a month starting on the 26th. At least you have to actually opt in to such a service. No offense, I have enough crap on my XFinity bill (and I've been toying with cancelling it for a while), I think I'm going to go sign up with Summer of Peacock if I can.

I was able to get my Peacock subscription renewed as well. The steps were painful (and I couldn't do it on my laptop for whatever reason so I had to resort to my phone) but we are good to go!

I think that because I already had my email with Peacock a while back, all I had to was click on “Activate Now” on the Xfinity App and enter my password and it stated I was good to go!

I am an Internet Diamond member of Xfinity, but whoa, I spent a lot of time on this! I had the opposite experience of Welecome to Nowhere. The short version is that it turns out that even though I've never had a Premium Account on Peacock, I am in their system and get e-mails somehow. They kept trying to charge me for the service! Yet I could see no way to completely delete that "account". I finally had to use a different e-mail, and I think everything's ok now. So just a heads up in case any of you run into this.

I would double check your member status. Use the Xfinity app. It should tell you at the top that you are a Diamond or Platinum member. If you are not, definitely reach out to customer service and get it resolved.

I know there was a “Summer of Movie is back” banner towards the bottom of the app showing to get the movie of the week. If you have it, try clicking on it and sign in to see if you’re able to see the movie.

Still no dice but I do appreciate your trying to help. I may wait until the next time I'm supposed to have a movie waiting and reach out to support to see if it's something they can fix.
