My copy finally arrived today for TDATD. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

I watched this last week and I had a lot of fun with it. It takes a bit of time to get going but once it does, it really goes. The picture and audio quality are top notch and the audio commentaries are great as usual. The Sammo interview has terrible audio as does the Q&A with Sammo. At least on the Q&A Sammo has a microphone so we can hear him, but the questions being asked are a bit hard to hear. Still, this is a great release.

Watched this afternoon for the first time ever and enjoyed it very much. Definitely has Mr Vampire vibes.
There were a few instances of blue vertical lines on the frame in certain dark scenes, but overall good picture and audio.
Just wondering, why do the credits at the end say 1989 when it should be 1982?

I thought the colors looked a little oversaturated when I watched it. I even see that in the screen-caps, above. Of course, it's miles better than any previous release.

Finally watched the blu-ray. The first half starts off a bit slow with a lot of comedy, fortunately the second half jumps into more ghostly antics. It's always nice to see Sammo and Lam Ching Ying is a favorite of mine. Eureka did a nice job with the PQ and subs. I'll check out the extras later.

Probably an error in making the new credits, unless they used a reissue version?

shades of this in Spooky encounters 2, which is an outright classic!

Finally got this in today. Outstanding release of a quite underrated horror comedy from the always interesting Sammo & Co. Wonderful detail, beautiful color, fantastic restoration. I really like Darren Wheeling’s art for this and Encounter of the Spooky Kind. Nice booklet essay as well. Looking forward to checking out the commentaries and interviews soon. I’m a bit late to the party on this one because I’d already picked up the Panorama Blu, which ain’t bad, but this is a most welcome upgrade, and an even better upgrade from my ancient Universe DVD. Man, Eureka and 88 just continue to kill it with these amazing HK classic releases. Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought it possible to have the collection I have now. And it gets better every month! Can’t wait for my 88 Iceman Cometh and Eureka Hopping Mad to get here! (I know, I’m late on Iceman.)
