Thanks for posting that. Not sure I would upgrade if I had the bluray already, but since I don't, I guess the UHD is worth getting.

my Mildred pierce 4k arrived from Amazon Uk- its scratched just like the mexican discs from technicolor . Citerion UK used to use Sony Austria for years for all their 4k's and Blu rays and now they've switched to Technicolor Poland ( IFPI UG) . The race to the bottom continues

a few years go Powerhouse/Indicator made the same switch and ive stopped buying their releases - too many scratched discs . The lady atPowerhouse was very apologetic - 3 copies she sent me in a row all scratched

Finally upgraded this one as it’s an all-time favorite. Stunning 4K disc. That silver nitrate restoration is one of the best Criterion has ever done.
