I'm happy this is coming out soon. It is my favorite TNG movie. My dad especially loves it, he'll be thrilled when we get this.

I'd much prefer a 13 film box set or 3 separate ones so I can put them in the proper timeline on my shelf.

There is now a 2nd pre-order for First Contact and Generations at Amazon.

I am guessing these are remastered Blu-rays?

Seems like it, it's ~20 vs ~30
the other two haven't shown up. And of course all the pre-orders of last night were transported to the vacuum of space.

Why I posted as soon as I saw them. So some of our 4K brethren might snap them

If the individual releases of Star Trek II-VI (both the remastered Blu-rays and UHDs) are anything to go by, the UHD covers of the TNG movies will likely be the same.

It's in the database. Could be a little of both. I thought it was a 'made up one' at first, but then noticed the 'glare' at the top center of each one. Each movie has its own color and most TBA/mock--ups wouldn't go through the trouble, lol. I think it's legit.

I think it is home made. If you look at the blu-ray artwork, the glare at the top center is part of the line just below Blu-Ray + Digital.

Yeah, I guess what I meant to say was it is probably put together using the blu-ray version and a 4K banner, not a total custom job but assuming it will be based on previous release. Made up, but not made up. (not mine by the way)

I only own 3 (special edition) movie soundtracks: Apollo 13, Tron: Legacy, and Star Trek: First Contact. All great...but the extra tracks (I think the Tron one sold out) are even better!

So it's set to be released the day before "First Contact Day"? Guess that makes sense so you can watch it. My favorite ST:TNG movie; I've owned the LD/DVD/BD...will I get the UHD?

Was there a VHS release that had that or was it something else. I vaguely recall there being a lenticular card of the poster for something.

Thank you, I thought I remembered something like that.
Now I wonder whether I kept my copy of that version or not... maybe I held onto just the cover.

I don’t think we got that over here. I can’t remember it anyway.
