When the 50th Anniversary of ETD comes round I hope Warner would include the theatrical cut

I believe I had that problem initially, I think it just wasn't recognising my email for some reason. Try using an email from one of those online generator things, that works for me.

Just had a thought that this is the last major project coming out that Fran had a hand in.

1971 - Premiere and initial Mandarin cuts
1972 - Export cut and its dub
1973 - National General Pictures English version, later adopted by Golden Harvest as the de facto English dub/version. Removes several small bits of dialogue and censors the longer shot of the Boss's undoing by Cheng.
1983 - Cantonese-language reissue cut. Makes a variety of edits to dialogue similar to the Nat Gen version and shortens the Boss's death using a different part of the footage. Famously removes the "factory run" shot because the head of that reel became so damaged by at least 1973.

OldPangYau's video essay will go into detail on what is still missing from the general release Mandarin cut and why.
Always wondered about where the Factory Run scene from the the US Fists of Fury cut came from, now makes sense. Presumably it's in the Mandarin Cut print that was found.

Yup, I did as deep a dive as I could with what bits and bobs were still missing from the 110 minute cut, and theorizing as to why, using context clues from photos, audio jumps, etc.

i've just gone for the yellow Arrow exclusive, not sure why as the regular looks nice as well and could've used the HMV code to get it for less than a ton.i'll stick with the Arrow though i think.

Could be worth waiting for the final artwork reveal to see the artwork for each of the individual discs.
I know Tony Stella can't wait for all of his artwork for the set to be revealed....I do love what he does.

Will this set basically have the same contents, film wise, as the Japanese Bruce Lee UHD set?

I am curious how the discs are going to be packaged, unlikely to be individually.

From Tony Stella's tweets on a thread by James Flower on Twitter, it sounds as though they will have.

I'm glad they don't do it but I wonder why none of the U.K companies go down the route of tiers of extra special editions. 50 extra special editions come with exclusive artwork. posters and bookmark type stuff that you get from umbrella and error 4444.
