I enjoyed this film. I had never seen it, but I love Ray Liotta. It's a really good movie -- better than Die Hard 2. Liotta is great. He is charming and then completely unhinged. 7/10

It's funny that you mention "Die Hard 2" since that kept coming to mind as I read Roger Ebert's review of "Turbulence" and how much he hated it due to it failing every logic test he seemed to throw at it, which is pretty hilarious since he's the guy who liked "Die Hard 2" better than "Die Hard". I am not going to say I like "Turbulence" better than "Die Hard 2", but if these two movies were going to get into a fight over which one is more dumb, "Die Hard 2" is gonna win.

Die Hard With a Vengeance has a few dumb moments, but on the whole, I enjoy it more than any other Die Hard film. Hopefully, a 4K U.H.D. is comin' down the pike. Thank you for commenting. |

Die Hard 2 is awesome, and feels like a true sequel, especially since they brought back several OG cast members. Hardly any villain can ever live up to Hans Gruber, so it suffers by comparison in that department, but I think it's an excellent action flick.
I can't stand that they lazily introduced Gruber's brother as the main heavy in Vengeance, and worse, McClane being some deadbeat, derided NYPD flatfoot cop is more nonsensical than the previous two films put together. Nakatomi itself, let alone Duelles, would make him a nationally revered hero which he'd surely be living out in lavish retirement. Anyways, big Liotta fan and still need to see Turbulence. |
