Sisu 4K Steelbook (Best Buy Exclusive)

Received a notice for shipping for tomorrow, but just got another saying that it's delayed until Wednesday.

I wanna say no Atmos no sale. But that steelbook is too nice to pass up. It’s a blind buy for me, so hopefully the movie is worth the purchase.

I’m still shocked they’re no atmos on here since this is a Lionsgate 4K release. They usually make good 4K blu rays with both Dolby Vision and Atmos. I’m still here waiting for some kind of update for the shipping of the Steelbook.

Agreed. I would expect this out of some other studios, but not Lionsgate. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come.

For some reason I couldn't change my preorder to store pickup even though store pick up became available but it wouldn’t switch. I had to cancel my preorder and reorder with store pickup, thankfully that worked so I can pick it up later today instead of waiting for it late.

My order is saying it will be filled tomorrow at a store that says it's currently out of stock. I'm guessing that means they won't have any copies to fill it. Placed another order at a store that's farther away. We shall see what happens tomorrow.

Mine came in a mailer and was kinda warped also.

I have COVID though, and the actual steelbook is fine, so I thought I’ll just accept it the way it is.

I don’t think the warping has anything to do with heat, I think it was just poor design. Mine was shipped and was pretty warped on the top back. I exchanged it in store and all 3 copies had the warping. I exchanged for the one in the best shape. The steelbook had no damage.

It is a great looking steelbook. The sideways slip was a cool touch. I switched it around. The title stands out more with the yellow (front) of the steelbook showing.

I wondered if there had been a mistake when the design looked different. I wasn't aware that the slip was sideways. My slip also has a bulge/warp at the top.

Received mine today. It was backwards like the others shown in this thread. What got me was they shipped it in a bubble mailer and the 4K disc was rattling around. Luckily no scratches on the disk and the steelbook itself is is mint condition. Did Best Buy stop using boxes for shipping their steelbooks? I haven’t pre-orders any for shipping in a long time.

Mine came in a box, with the bubble padding inside. It’s been a long time since one of my steelbooks came in a bubble mailer.

My 2 came in the white bubble mailer, One has loose discs and the second the slip is damaged badly so will be returning both. Thankfully placed ISPU order. Fingers crossed it wll be mint.

Typically, if it's a Best Buy exclusive, it should ship in a box.

It's the wide release steelbooks (available at all retailers) that BB tends to ship in bubble mailers or the cardboard envelopes. They seem to treat those like regular blu rays for some reason, which I don't agree with.

However, these BB exclusives (like Sisu) can sometimes also get shipped in bubble mailers, if they are sent to you from a store or are ordered after release day (not pre-orders). At least, this has been my experience.




By the way, all the copies I saw at the store had the warping problem with the back cover. There was no choice but to buy one of those.
