Received mine in a big box no padding and arrived dented and scratched up go figure lol. But some of the steelbooks had some scratches too and they were not part of the design.
Ordered another one in hopes it is at least better than this set. I will return the least damaged set. |

And, yeah, the second movie's steelbook has some scratches that were there already (inside the packaging). I'm not gonna nitpick it, though, since they're minor. Kinda glad we won't be getting any more of these large sets as Best Buy exclusives going forward. Of all the retailers I've ordered from only Zaavi has a worse track record for shipping damage. These giant tin sets are damage magnets one way or the other. ![]() |

Still available for shipping at ~ $120. At ~$20 per steelbook, it's not a bad deal.
Still not digging the cover art on these. |

Mine actually had one puny little air pillow inside of it lulz. The shipping box was beat to hell and the top of my outer case was a little scratched but it’s almost unnoticeable because it looks similar to the scaly texture of the box. I actually had to move it around in the light to make sure the scratches weren’t printed on.
There’s also a spine slash on my FK and a scratch on the spine (probably from a box cutter too, but not exactly a spine slash) on my Dominion, but overall it’s within my margin of acceptability. I think I have 2 of these steelbook collections from before, the Superman anthology that is absolutely pristine because Amazon shipped it in its original shipper, and the infamous Rambo set that looks like it was recovered from the wreckage of a plane crash, and honestly on a scale where that Superman is 100 and that Rambo is a 0 then I’d give this JP set somewhere between a 90 and a 95. Nothing worth losing sleep over. |

Came in a medium sized box with a nearly useless bit of air cushion padding, basically bouncing around loose inside, with space for miles. BUT that said, lucked out and it arrived 100% pristine, no dents, dings and inner steelbooks all perfect too. Pretty cool looking steels.
The discs are the same though, so no appearance of the supposedly new DCP they apparently used in the UK a few months back for JP. Anyway, my 900th copy of these films. ![]() |
