Yeah, mine is about 70% as well, decent but not great sound. There's a killer true IMAX about an hour north of me in Reading MA that's 80 by 60, double laser, killer sound, but they don't have reserved seating so it's tough with kids.

yeah, i saw this Friday in IMAX, and found the volume a bit low,
maybe because i'm deaf in 1 ear for about 80%, but i was sitting in the top row near the speakers (where i always sit) [Show spoiler] i liked it a lot, but i was feeling that it's missing a big set piece, found the action in Fallout a bit better. liked the (IMAX) intro that Tom Cruise & Christopher McQuarrie did at the beginning. |

I don't collect Steels any longer unless it is priced lower than the Amaray and I am not shocked btw but I do point out inconsistencies which is not uncommon but surprising that commonsense still doesn't seem to prevail lol.

I've never done this before (with Part 1/2 movies), but I might actually wait to buy this one until Part 2 comes out (really liked it). I'm thinking the current writers/actors/whatever strike is going to delay completion of Part 2, which will obviously delay the disc release. By that time, who knows: there could be "special" 2/3 disc editions/sets/whatever. Combined with the fact this is (probably) the end of the M:I movie series, these things are unlikely to go up in price.

While I wish that were the case, I can't imagine him making these things at the age of 65. Or at least not until he does a sequel (prequel?) to Edge of Tomorrow / Live, Die, Repeat).

Edge of Tomorrow was a box office disappointment. And the dude is already 60 and shows no signs of slowing down and 65 is just around the corner.

I caught the film there on the 10th. The presentation was insane, to say the least. Hitting "Oppenheimer" on Thursday afternoon. And like yourself, I really wish they would consider doing reserve seating at some point in the future.

Saw it for the 2nd time last night, and liked it even more than the first time. Really digging the main villain and the action scenes. Good bit of comedy thrown in as well.
Gets my vote as the best action franchise I've seen |

Part 2 may be the end for Cruises reign in MI. Unless it does huge numbers, the combined cost for the two films and the returns are not going to make Paramount happy enough to continue throwing outrageous amounts of money on the franchise.
