Yes, that's still a public GB though isn't it, as it isn't for VIPs. VIP was separate and not subject to any criteria other than being a VIP. He was very open from the start that there was specific eligibility criteria to join these GBs. So unless his position has changed, I'd see it still being applicable. Best to ask Kevin if you want to be sure.

Public GB means that anyone can join it as VIPs already had their chance...

That person asking wasn't a VIP so I'm not sure why that's relevant here. It's always been the option for VIPs to join the public GB when it opens if they didn't make the other deadline. They just have less chance of making it depending on how popular/quantity available

That's what I'm trying to tell you.. not in this instance, unless something has changed. To quote directly;

"Presently, to qualify for ownership of this BP series, a member must have purchased more than 50 previous Blufans releases or actively participated in at least 8 group buy events over the last 3 years."

So that's either a VIP (owning 50+ editions) or a non-VIP having joined 8+ GBs over the last year years. Post link is here.

So it sounds like quantity might have opened up a little... Maybe they didn't get that many VIP requests But as of 2 weeks ago, it sounded like there is now a chance of a public GB

Wouldn’t the full slip version be the least expensive? Is it not available on its own?

Correct... It's pretty rare to get just a Single Lenti or Full Slip from Blufans these days. Their MO for a while now has been sticking to 1-Clicks and just Double Lentis.
