As for your Cubs..as I am a die hard Sox fan..I will say they win their division!

Just to fall as usual.
Even though its been 100 years since they won the division, or made the playoffs 2 years in a row?

That's what I mean by them always falling (in the bold)

Remember when they almost made it to the series..but fell to the Marlins?

See yeah I want the Yankees to win, but Id rather the season be a good one. I wanna see the best playoff matches possibile with EVERYONE healthy

ALDS
Yankees vs. Angels
Red Sox vs Tigers

NLDS
Mets vs. Cubs
Dodgers vs Diamondbacks

ALCS
Yankees vs. Red Sox (has to go to 7 games)

NLCS

Mets vs. Dodgers

World Series

Yankees vs. Dodgers would be a hell of a lot bigger than the Mets and Yankees not only because of Joe Torres first return, but the Dodgers and Yankees rivalry go back to the days of Brooklyn.

Remember, these are not my Predictions, these are just the matchups I would like to see and think would be the best matchups.

Im creating a Yahoo fantasy baseball league..Just say your in if you want to join

You do realize that the Mariners aren't even in the same division as the Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers, or Indians right? If you're talking about wildcard, then you may be right, but we shall see. Otherwise, it's the division title we're talking about and the Angels and Ms are in the same division.

I'm sure I'll be stuck watching Tampa Bay since MLB insists on blacking out my Braves.

I'm just happy when the Cubs have 2 winning seasons in a row, let alone playoff appearances.

What to watch for this year: My beloved Pittsburgh Pirates matching the all time losing season streak with the '33-'48 Phillies.

I am first and foremost, a NY Giants fan. But I usually watch every Yankee game that I can. This year will be an interesting one after the Mitchell report and all.

Red Sox could repeat because (although I hate to admit it) are nasty when the pressure is turned up.

Last year no one had the Yanks in the playoffs at all, and they made it. But the millions of dollars worth of players c-h-o-k-e-d. And I swore off baseball until spring.

Predictions? Who cares, Football starts in September.

Although I do love me some NY football Giants. I am a much bigger baseball fan and im glad football is over and was a pretty nice ending haha.

Red Sox can very well repeat, but the last repeat champs? Yankees in 98 99 00. Before that? Blue Jays in 92 and 93. And before that it was the Yankees in 77 and 78. So its not something that happens very often. Hasnt happened in this century. Its not the money that is given to the players that makes them a good team. Payroll has nothing to do with winning a championship and I think we have the best chance this year with the young kids coming up. But we'll see what happens

Any time the Yankees, and now Red Sox, don't win is just great with me. Hate both teams and their owners.

No, I recently disconnected my DirecTV service because I didn't watch it enough. I will probably get an MLB.TV Premium subscription on my Mac again this season.

i fall asleep watching baseball. boring. give me some rugby like qualcomm stadium has had lately. but here's my prediction,

the padres will again be the least sucky team in their division, probably finishing just over 500 then getting crushed in the playoffs again. lord knows we only built them a stadium with our tax dollars under the guise of the team spending more to get us some $%@# hitters. i hate baseball anyway. but i'd like to see the padres win or do something.
