Then Severin re-releasing stuff like Butcher Baker needlessly on 4k for $40, I'm gladly keep my blu from Kino I got for $10. I got a slipped Kingdom Of The Spiders from their sale just a few months back thinking it might not get another release and now that's also coming from Kino.
Appreciate the insight..

While I am not interested in these CR and Scorpion releases as investments (I'm just trying to build a library tailored to my interests), I've no doubt that 10-15 years from now they will be worth much more than they are currently. You see the same thing happen in the videogame market, which I've been following since the late 90's. Once stock is sold out, everything becomes outrageously priced on titles that couldn't be given away years prior. But, if I were an investment guy, my money would be in anime BDs (which I don't care for). It's what all the kids these days are into and will likely have the largest consistent increase in value, similar to Video Games as they draw from a parallel market. It will then be the generation into anime that will then gravitate to the superhero movies on disc, then other genres. This and nostalgia titles for the Gen X'ers that'll start entering retirement within the next decade or two. So my guess is labels like Scream/Shout (engage nostalgia from popular 80's/90's movies) and labels that do anime would likely be the front runners in the long term. Code Red and Scorpion will do well because of the low print runs when more investment minded individuals enter the market, but there are likely much better labels to be collecting before things wind down to a close and Blu-Rays become a widely respected collectible similar to what has happened to Video Games.

How are Grindhouse Video with packaging of items (eg. two Blu-ray titles)? Have checked their website out and there are a couple of titles on my want list that are available there (slipcover-less).

They pack fine. I've had no troubles in the past. They use a box. Definitely not like Amazon.
