Excellent review! Having finished watching volumes 1, 2 and now 3, can't wait for volume 4. Westerns and Martial Arts movies are sure picking up steam on Blu-ray,4K physical format and i am all for it.

Received my copy of the Arrow STANDARD EDITION of Vengeance Trails. Fantastic little set and I prefer it without the extra swag. It's only as big as 4 Amaray cases put together. Perfect for an already overburdened media shelf.

The limited edition is pretty much the same size. That booklet is pretty slim and feels cheaper than their usual ones. Content is good though.

Started watching last night a recorded television screening (aired on Talking Pictures TV) of Mannaja. Hopefully will finish it this weekend. Compared to a film I watched on the same channel last year (Edge of Eternity), after the titles at the beginning it stayed in a widescreen aspect ratio instead of filling the whole TV screen afterwards. I started watching another film (same channel) last year (a western called These Thousand Hills) and the same thing happened as with Edge of Eternity (I stopped watching These Thousand Hills because of the aspect ratio presentation issue happening again). So it was a relief to see it not happen with Mannaja (the film on this TV screening has Italian titles with an English dub).

Enjoyed the majority of it so far (especially the muddy and rainy parts in the town). I'll need to check a spaghetti westerns book I've got, but I'm sure this was one of a couple of films I remember being covered towards the end of the book (the other being California). Have checked the IMDb and until I check the book, California (1977) I hope gets the Arrow treatment as well as Mannaja.

Finished watching Mannaja (aka A Man Called Blade) this past weekend. Thought it was very good and was well shot at times (the rainy, muddy and misty scenes were some of the highlights). Wasn't sure about the mixture of music styles used in the film though.

The titles were in Italian at the beginning and in English for the end credits.

It's been almost a year since this Limited Edition was released. If Arrow's past release patterns are any indication, we should be getting a STANDARD EDITION release of Savage Guns any time now.

Agreed. I picked up the first two arrow spaghetti western box sets as standard editions and hopeful this one will come as a standard edition as well. My guess would be sometime in 2025 if the past release schedules are any indication.
