Back when he made Aliens, The Abyss, T2, James Cameron was someone worth talking about by everyone, but like George Lucas he seems a director who got lost in a cul-de-sac of technology. Wish he'd go back to making movies rather than effects reels.

Don't know who's fallen further from grace: him or Ridley Scott. Like Cameron, Scott made nothing but classics (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, etc). Now? It's crap like the Alien prequels, Exodus, House of Gucci, and The Last Duel. Hated the latter. It tries to ripoff a structure from one of my favorite movies of all time (Rashomon) and does a poor job at it, the historical accuracy was beyond insulting, the production values weren't impressive for its budget, and the acting outside of Adam Driver was pretty awful. No surprise it became one of the biggest bombs ever made.

That's actually a steele book release of Abyss in UHD. Unfortunately, this the Big Foot's side hustle as an Amazon delivery beast, so don't expect a dent free steele book. The spine looks damaged anyway.
