I am, however, now super curious how they pulled this off in the sixties with a non-existent budget. The chutes and ladders-ish game that Steven and Dodo play is really expansive with lots and ups and downs and moving parts. There is no way that they could have pulled that off for buck .98 that the show was made on.

They spent a fair bit of money on The Web Planet so I don't doubt they could spend money on this.

I was fully expecting to hate the animation but I actually really like this take on Celestial, it's much more grounded than Web 3 was. If you haven't bought it yet give it a go.

I keep hearing positive things about it, but Amazon UK has had my steelbook order in "Dispatching Now" status for most of this week! Keep hoping I'll wake up to a dispatch notice. Maybe tomorrow will finally be the day.
