What a waste, they could have even called it Sonic 3-D.

During a sports game on TV Tuesday night, they showed a quick TV spot Sonic 3 Trailer where they had the characters stepping outside of the letterboxed black bars as if it was made for 3D, but at the end of the trailer, nothing about 3D. That was weird. I had the audio muted so missed what they were saying. A 2D only movie.

That short S3 trailer for TV should pop up online soon is my guess.
