v.1.5.0.0 is out for Owl3D. Also I spent 30 mins on Zoom Call with intern showing me Owl3D Studio (sneek peek). It was impressive forward thinking, tool set!

I downloaded this and converted several trailers using all softs of options and also recommended settings from a youtuber and the results are typical auto conversion to me..some nice areas but lots of distracting artifacts.

AI Inpainting is what you need to use to get rid of those artifacts.

Owl3D uses StereoGen, but there is also option named StereoCrafter which is a bit more complicated to set up.

This is a shot from Aliens using StereoCrafter with Davinci Resolve to fix color errors and other issues.

FYI, Owl3D users and or other 2D-3D conversions software users. Beware if your sharing your 2D-3D home converted movies to any "Friendly" Upload Sharing Groups and or Pay Download Sites. There are Resellers hidden among you downloading and burning them on BR reselling on Ebay and Mercari or direct email lists. On Mercari that resellers burned disks are advertised as 3D! They don't disclose it's someone else's 2D-3D conversion and charging between $33-$45 per disk.




Everyone here on Blu-ray.com knows what titles got a 3D release and which didn't.

Just watched this on my newly restored Panasonic 65 inch 4K 3D TV. Very impressive, Masses of depth that goes forever and the layers are solid, not flat. Great Work!

Yes, Myself and others tend take the 4K and or BR and made our own 2D-3D till the real Captain America Brave New World 3DBR released from Japan. This is how to tell, they are selling 2D-3D. Disk Only no official case or you know the Disk shown is not the legit label from Japan.

FYI, I don't share my 2D-3D on any sites, they are for my Bigscreen VR Public Room Viewers Only.

Not at $30 or higher cost woukd I say any good. If you have a VR Headsets, load up BigscreenVR App it's free and look in the Public Rooms for 3D in the description of what they are streaming.

Granted some 2D-3D movies can take from a few hours to a few days. Depending on the Peson's Software bieng used what preferred settings they have and the PC Hardware as newer CPU'S and GPU'S can do more faster than older ones.

Of course I will tell you my own 2D-3D is way better than those Germany 3D Autoconversions I collected. Mine have good overall depth (but zero pop-out in your face) Owl3D still not there yet on true Pop-Out!
