Owned it on every format and it is one of those films that has never looked that great. You described it perfectly. That is what makes this release more exciting. Really looking forward to seeing how it looks compared to what we have now.

I think their only UHD does only release was Drive wasn’t it? Every other UHD release has been a dual format release.

Love to see this kind of release coming from 88 Films. Here's hoping for the sequels too. Even though I think American Wedding is a big pile o' shite . But I have genuine affection for II and to a lesser extent, The Reunion.

Yeah, I watched the four films recently (3 & 4 for the first time) and I didn't care for Wedding. Just didn't think the gags landed and while I liked Stifler in the other films, he's annoying as **** in that one. Reunion was a definite improvement.

Glad to know I am not the only one that didn’t enjoy Wedding as much as 1, 2 and 4.

Always felt out of place compared to the other 3, Stiffler included.

Wedding was horrible. Never saw Reunion because Wedding soured me on the idea of further films. Sounds like it's worth checking out.

Yeah, check it out. I felt much the same as you but, fortunately, I bought the blu-ray boxset of all four movies so there was really no excuse for me not to at least give Reunion a go. And I'm glad I did, because while not the best the series has to offer it definitely feels more genuine than Wedding and brings the series to a close on a more satisfying note.

The second movie complements the first movie remarkably well. One of the better comedy sequels IMO. They probably should have just stopped there. But yeah, Wedding is a big drop for sure and Reunion was better. I'll take all four none the less.

Reunion feels way more like 1 and 2. Highly recommend you check it out if you enjoyed 1 and 2. I’ll probably revisit Reunion myself this weekend.

Although I own the Blu Ray set, I could never part with my ex rental VHS.

Fun times….

Knock it out of the park, 88 Films. Nadia in 4K? Shame on you

Wedding sticks out as well because it has a scope ratio unlike the other films. I prefer Reunion, but as a whole I’d say this is one of the most consistent franchises.

I enjoyed The Book of Love spinoff when I rewatched it last year. It’s basically a reboot/remake/requel to the first American Pie film.

Wedding I definitely felt was the worst one. Stiffler was like a cartoon caricature of himself. I'm glad they properly found his character again in Reunion, which was a much better movie IMO.

I'm staggered that Universal aren't putting this out themselves...

Maybe but adding HDR or DV would probably make them look better.

I'm sure Universal will be releasing it themselves here in the USA.
