Because I'm trying to get off the steelbook train.

I did go all out when Best Buy blew out their steelbooks.

The Blob remake [out of the 20 I bought the only one where the spine split in half but it was $10 so what the hell] the last steelbook from BB and free shipping! This is one of the very few damaged steels I got from Best Buy and of course it's the last one I bought from them. I find that to be an omen.

and Furiosa and many other titles will be $10-15 on BF, time to stop overspending for packaging and just go for the movie. Steelbooks are heavy too especially when packed into a moving box.

Completely agree with this. And I hate giving BB credit, but they had the model. Tired of gambling and hoping that my Steels will be shipped and NOT damaged. And living in a small city, like I do, the Wal-Mart around here just don't care about the product they put on the shelves. Plus, they just never have anything.

I mostly stopped getting steelbooks also but every so often I make an exception. This is one of those exceptions.

They could IMO, they just chose not too again. WB has become terrible in the last two years. Based on The Flash and Dune Part 2 ( I got the steel books for both),I guess the missing special features will be included on the Digital code included. They were for those two films.I never used the codes until now but I have started to get the missing special features.

The new normal, no more bluray in combo packages, just digital.

Best hope is on BF the 4K and the bluray packages both go for $10. That's $20 out the door for standard packaging. The value of the HD digital will have gone down but you may get $2 to cover sales tax.

You get it all with the steelbook but you gotta pre-order and be diligent.

Paid the big bucks for Indy Dial but was able to get $10 back when Best Buy lowered the price. Longer return period during Christmas.

Walmart no longer does price matching, you'd have to keep it sealed and if there is a price reduction then do a return/ rebuy. I noticed that Walmart rarely discounts their exclusives and if they do it's about a year later.

I did. But I agree, nowhere near as much as Fury Road. Fury Road is a 10/10 while Furiosa is a 7.5/10. Interesting note though, both my sons (17, 15) said they liked Furiosa more than Fury Road.

I pre-ordered this a while back.

I just pray it arrives in good shape as it seems stores don't usually carry these WB steelbooks!

This steelbook will pair real well with my other Mad Max 4K steelbooks (save for the first film).
