If you're a fan of DeVito's other directorial efforts (or It's Always Sunny...) absolutely. But his acerbic sense of humor is definitely an acquired taste for some.

I happened to randomly watch this along with He Got Game (both for the first time) back to back earlier this year and was really taken aback by a huge coincidence being that both films had scenes not only shot/taken place at the same locations in Coney Island but the same Nathan's hot dog restaurant as well no less! The weirdness of that is all coming back to me.

Then don't spring for it. No one's forcing you. I really don't understand what people expect to happen when they feel the need to tell everyone else they're not buying it. Do you expect Shout! to see your post and say "oh man, we better lower the price so this peon will actually buy a copy"?

Like a good few here, I've been aching for this to be upgraded from DVD and it has, so I will happily purchase it.

Bro, what’s your deal dude?
Why the hostility for no reason. The other dude just asked if it was worth a blind buy? Then Another user said you should probably check it out first just to make sure and then he said it was pretty good but not 35 good and that was it.

Why are you jumping over at his throat like it’s some sort of attack on you specifically meanwhile the other guy was pretty chill. He wanted to see it first just to make sure, that’s all.

Just chill bruh it ain’t that serious. Besides the only opinion that you should be really focusing on is yourself and clearly you enjoy the movie so that’s it. That’s all that matters. You’re just creating a problem for no reason.

For me personally, I’m probably gonna check this one out too because I love all three of the main dudes in it and it seems to have the sense of humor that I really gravitate towards so it’s looking like a good combo.

Anyone who cites MSRP as if it's a realistic price point is trolling.

A good balance of Dark-Comedy for Robin Williams.
Edward Norton was great fun too.

As much as I want this. I can't justify seeing myself spending $35 for it.

Even if you want it, you can still wait for a sale. No reason to think it will stay at $35.

He arguably has a pretty strong director filmography. The average person now probably just sees him as the goofy actor from It's Always Sunny, but he's been an important hand in the creative process for a number of projects. He has a fairly unique style and has kind of remained low key in that regard as few outside of cinema geeks are probably aware he's directed movies over the years.

'Bout time. This movie made me who I am. For better or worse, it was a formative obsession for 12-year-old me.

Finally. I’ve got my must haves list of DVD’s that need upgrading down to two. After this release it will just be Idiocracy on my list. This movie was seriously underrated by the critics. Amazing performances and funny as hell. I can’t wait for August.
