Default Has Nobody Heard of Totem Acoustics?

Did a Thread Search and Didn't find a Single Mention of the Totem...though there doesn't seem to be much left.

Anyways, Totems are the most Amazing set of speakers I've ever heard.

I just wanted to know if anybody outside Canada has ever heard of them?

I've heard of them, but I've never auditioned any personally. Second hand reports are that they make a great product.

Yes, I have heard of them. From what I remember, they make a pretty good loudspeaker. A little pricey, but very well-made.

Pricey is Correct, but even their small speakers are better than most tower speakers

I have heard them, fine sounding speakers and fairly priced for the quality of the speakers. They may be expensive compared to Klipsch or Anthem but these are on a whole different level sound wise.

I feel good knowing I'm not the only one that's heard of them. I sell them like I said, and from experience thought they were the best, and just sank a good $4000 into them, and didn't want to be told i was a fool (To be fair, staff discount, so they retail about $9000)

I am a long time subscriber to Stereophile and The Absolute Sound, two of the most well-known high end audio magazines. I know about Totem Acoustics speakers. The company is based in Montreal and makes outstanding speakers. They are expensive and much better than the average speakers that most people have heard about. Totem Acoustics speakers are another example of fine Canadian speakers. Historically Canadian speaker manufacturers have benefitted from the outstanding research done by the National Research Council of Canada.. You can find some reviews below.

Like the "Wind" - (pun intended) Yes I have heard of and heard Totem speakers (pun intended again). They are awesome speakers, comparable to Dynaudio.

I considered these, but went a different route..... as far as how they look, I definitely think they're asthetically pleasing, but everyone has different tastes I guess.

I certainly feel they're a pretty good value at that price point, ( at least the ones I was looking at) but felt other options were better. I certainly doubt you'd be disappointed with them.

good luck with whatever you decide.

You sure you don't work for Totem??? haha... there are a LOT better bookshelf speakers out there, but again, everyone hears a little differently.

I heard the Forest about 1.5 yrs ago at a high end store. It sounded great, it was driven by a $10K Pathos intergrated amp, far better than any mass market speakers I heard.

I should have said In My Opinion, but from what I've Heard, they're the best.

I work for a high end electronics store. so, I'd say we carry quite a few of the most popular brands, and then a lot of the good brands as well. And Totem Killed our Bose Sales, so we dropped bose
