That would affect every person who bought it, not just you. They rarely carry steelbooks in store anymore so every single person would have theirs delayed until the issue is fixed. You wouldn't miss out on it, just have it delayed like every other person who bought it.

Ive always had dates readjust. Or they ship them out anyways without adjusting the date.

Mines said this since I pre-ordered it back in July 21.

Well like i said that is exactly what happened to me with Bad Boys. It never shipped out to me. I ended up canceling and reordering and got it 3 days after the release date had that been a release that was sold out I would have never got it.

Yeah still no movement on my order with the release date showing as July 2025. I'll contact customer service to see if they can do anything, which they probably can't. So I'm guessing I missed out on this one.

I've had 3 different items do this and still ship without them adjusting the date. I wouldn't make assumptions.

I've had the same. The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes Collectors Edition. The date remained wrong and it was first experience with Walmart post best buy and didn't know about this stuff. I panicked the a four days before release and tried to cancel but it didn't go thru because thankfully it had shipped even though the date was wrong. Someone here suggested I sign up for FedEX and when I did ,it showed a shipping label had been created that very day.That's why i swore not to make that mistake again and react with panic.Just wait to see if it will ship and give it until release day or a day later now to contact Walmart.

Mine still says Arrives by Tue, Jul 01 and it's always said Preparing but again, I've experienced where it shipped even with the wrong date remaining so I'll wait.

I'm also waiting on the Deadpool & Wolverine Wolverine steelbook from Walmart. That always had the correct date.Preorder arrives by Oct 23 and continues to say Placed but I know people are having Walmart cancel their orders .So far no sign of that.

I really miss Best Buy.

Also my Sixth Sense at Target is on backorder Backordered : Estimated to arrive on Mon, Oct 28

Plus my replacement copy of A Quite Place Day One still won't play in my BD drive but everything else does including the newest releases and the most recent other Paramount releases I have.

Not having the best time with physical media this week. lol

Walmart was not an option for me in Canada,
But thankfully Best Buy.ca still sells physical media here.

...and it appears to be the same steelbook as the WallyWorld "exclusive"

My CC was just charged this morning and will arrive by Canada Post Oct.23

No movement on my Walmart order. It's been on the "preparing" status for several weeks now and still has the July 2025 release date. I guess we'll see what happens next week...

My order still shows the 7/1 delivery date, but the timeline graph indicates "Preparing". Not sure how meaningful that is.

Minds said preparing for months. And has said July 1st since preordering.

They did do an authentic charge on my card and few days ago so I think that'd be a good sign
